About the Artist

Harry Feeney originally from Quarry Street in the Brandywell, Derry, Harry left the city in 1977 at the age of 21. He pursued many careers until in 1990, he started painting. Harry’s work is recognized as having cultural and artistic merit and has proved popular with collectors from all over the world, having sold his work to collectors from across Europe, Japan, Australia and USA.

Having began painting professionally in 1995, and has enjoyed success through his television series Relax With Watercolour, one man shows, private commissions and his travels around the country teaching workshops. Throughout these travels, Harry began to realise that a Centre of Excellence – where people could come to learn, explore and fulfil their own personal goals, was much sought after.

And so – the Foxford Studio was born, fulfilling his ambition to open a centre where artists of all levels and abilities can come to experience and develop their own style (and others) in a state of the art setting. Harry and his family reside in Foxford, County Mayo where his wife Brigid manages the Foxford Lodge.
